Belturbet Rowing Club is based at Kilconny, Belturbet, on the Erne river system in County Cavan. Rowing Ireland lists it as a current river club in Ulster.

A 2021 club profile reported that Belturbet had been training young rowers for 20 years. Founder Tommy McMahon said the club then had more than 50 junior members.

Courses are open to rowers aged over 12, with younger children accommodated when an adult accompanies them. The 2021 summer programme ran on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and a Cavan Sports Partnership course added adult sessions.

The club described recreational rowing as its main focus, with casual competition between members rather than formal regattas. Beginners learned in lake boats, while a four-person quad and coaching from Hugh Tinniny expanded the training available to young adults.

At that point the club did not have a clubhouse. Equipment was stored at Belturbet Marina and Quivvy, and a county-development submission proposed a clubhouse on the Quivvy waters with access to the Erne and Castlesaunderson.

Former members have progressed into competitive university rowing. The club profile named Emma Brady in Trinity's first rowing team and Niamh Grogan rowing at University College Galway. Tommy McMahon later received County Cavan's 2025 Volunteers in Sport Award for his coaching, organisation and community work.
