Graiguenamanagh Rowing Club is based on the River Barrow in Graiguenamanagh, County Kilkenny. Rowing Ireland lists it as a current Leinster river affiliate, and local sources place the clubhouse beside the river in the town.

The club was established in 2001 by Brian Roberts. A Waterside Guesthouse account identifies Roberts as the founder and says the upriver stretch from Graiguenamanagh became a popular training location for visiting rowing clubs after the local club was established.

James Murphy gave the young club its first national-team selection in 2009. He finished third in the men's Senior Single at the Irish championships and was selected to race the single and a double for Ireland at the Home International Regatta in Nottingham.

Graiguenamanagh was represented internationally again in 2022 when Anna Brennan was named in Ireland's junior women's sculling team for the Home Internationals. She was also selected for the inaugural BSG and Powerhouse fund supporting the next generation of women's rowing in 2023.

The club's junior coaching has received national recognition. Rowing Ireland named Margaret Hennessey its February 2024 Volunteer of the Month for her work as a patient junior coach and later shortlisted her for Volunteer of the Year.

Graiguenamanagh remains active in domestic racing. A club men's four was entered at Trinity Regatta in 2026, while local visitor information describes the club as competing at regional and national level and identifies its August regatta as a summer fixture.
