Inver Colpa Rowing Club is based beside the River Boyne at Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service on Marsh Road, Drogheda, County Louth. The club publishes the full address as Marsh Road, Drogheda, A92 P863.

The club was established in 2011 after a successful charity row from the Isle of Man. Its four founders were Martin Murphy, Stuart Heslin, Dessie McDonald and Robert Finglas, and the club subsequently affiliated with the Irish Coastal Rowing Federation.

Inver Colpa has operated from the Boyne Fishermen's site for almost a decade. Its official site reports that planning permission has been received for a boathouse on an adjacent site and presents the proposed building plans.

Four crews opened the 2025 season at the Strangford Coastal Rowing Spring Series, winning first and second in the open women's one-design category and second and third in the men's event. The club then entered three mixed crews in its ninth annual Boyne Boat Race and retained the Cassidy Cup for the fastest mixed one-design crew.

In August 2025, Inver Colpa's novice women won the club's first All-Ireland medal earned by a complete club crew. Christine Cowap, Claire Corcoran, Saoirse Mallon and Linda Carter, coxed by Eavan Doyle, took gold at the All-Ireland Coastal Rowing Championships in Glenarm.

The club added Irish indoor titles in January 2026, including two golds for Claire Corcoran and one for Brian. Corcoran then won silver in her age category at the 2026 World Virtual Indoor Rowing Championships and set an Irish women's one-minute record of 341 metres.
