2k PB Push - 6-Week Peaking Block
You already train. You have a base. What you want is a faster 2k - and a random hard session on a Tuesday will not get you there. This is a six-week peaking block that does it properly: build threshold power, sharpen with race-pace and VO2 work, then taper into a fresh-legs personal-best attempt on a planned day.
Every pace is set from your current 2k, so it fits any level with a base already in place - whether that is 6:20 or 8:00, the structure is the same. Five sessions a week on clear cards, plus a science section that earns its place: how to pace the 2k so you do not blow up (the controlled fast-start most people get wrong), why a taper makes you faster, and how the best rowers in the world build to a peak - each point referenced to the research.
Delivered as a printable PDF you can pin next to the erg and follow to the day.
