Quintin Boat Club is based at Quintin Lane in Chiswick, West London. Its home water is the Tideway on the River Thames, and the club's official contact page gives the address as Quintin Lane, Chiswick, London W4 3UD.

The club was formally founded in 1907, although its roots lie in the Regent Street Polytechnic rowing club started in 1879. Quintin Hogg paid for a boathouse on the present Chiswick site in 1888. Quintin first appeared at Henley in 1920 and took part in the inaugural Head of the River Race in 1926.

Women were admitted as members in 1999. The club now reports more than 180 members across senior men's, women's, masters, development and recreational squads, with Learn to Row courses for adult beginners and membership routes for students and under-25s.

The fleet includes rowing and sculling boats for all squads, along with private boat racks. The boathouse is also home to the University of Westminster, Kew House School, Chiswick School and Grove Community Rowing, and social members use the club bar overlooking the Thames.

Quintin's Henley Royal Regatta wins include the Double Sculls Challenge Cup and Wyfold Challenge Cup in 1947, the Stewards' Challenge Cup in 1965 and the Thames Challenge Cup in 1974. Its official squad page also records Henley Women's Regatta wins and masters golds at the National Masters and Euro Masters events.

The club is associated with Chiswick Regatta and Quintin Head. Its current news archive records four Quintin finalists at Chiswick Amateur Regatta in 2026 and says the club has competed in every official Head of the River Race since that event began.
