Twickenham Rowing Club is based on Eel Pie Island in Twickenham and rows on the River Thames. Founded in 1860, it describes itself as one of London's oldest and largest rowing clubs and caters for rowers across a wide range of ages and experience.

Henri, Duc d'Aumale, became the club's first president and served from 1860 to 1897. The first boathouse was built in 1861 or 1862 as a floating structure off Twickenham Ait, now Eel Pie Island. A deed in 1876 conveyed land to the club's trustees, and construction of a new boathouse began in 1880.

Current squads cover seniors, masters, club, development and juniors, alongside beginner courses. Membership options include squad, independent, under-25 and student, junior, social and coxing routes, with club boats and facilities available according to category.

The senior men's squad trains for Henley Royal Regatta as well as the Metropolitan Regatta, Head of the River and Remenham Head. It qualified for Henley twice in three seasons and reached the third day in 2024, while also winning the Fraser Bowl at Marlow Regatta.

Twickenham runs adult and junior Learn to Row programmes. The club's wider offer includes a riverside clubhouse used for weddings, parties and events, with a stated capacity of up to 140.

The club also organises Twickenham Regatta. The 103rd edition was scheduled for 23 May 2026 and drew entries from 30 clubs, supported by published competitor, welfare, emergency and event documentation.
