New Ross Boat Club is based beside the River Barrow at Rosbercon, New Ross, County Wexford. Its published address is Rosbercon, New Ross, Y34 YW62, and Rowing Ireland lists it as a river club.

Founded in 1876, it is New Ross's oldest sporting club. The club reached its 150th anniversary in 2026 and planned a year of commemorative events, including an exhibition built from members' photographs and memorabilia.

The club supports junior, senior and masters rowing. Its news programme records introductory rowing classes, schools racing, indoor championships, heads of the river and regattas across those groups.

Anna Brennan won the Women's Club 2 single scull at the 2024 Irish Championships. The club and local press described it as New Ross Boat Club's first national title of that kind; Brennan was later shortlisted for Young Female Irish Rower of the Year.

New Ross also organises events on the Barrow. The Barrow Challenge brought skiffs and sculls into New Ross in October 2025, while a planned Head of the River in February 2026 was cancelled.

The club's 2025 season included Schools Regatta, Cork Head of the River, Irish Indoor Championships, Tullamore Time Trial, the Rowing Ireland 1K Classic and the Irish Championships. Its own reports cover crews from junior through masters and senior levels.
