Liverpool University Boat Club is the University of Liverpool's rowing club. Established in 1926, it trains three days a week from Runcorn Rowing Club on the River Weaver, where the university says members have access to more than 20 kilometres of water. Runcorn's own facilities page says one side of its second boatshed is used by LUBC.

The club has men's and women's squads for novice and experienced rowers. Beginners are taught from the ground up through its learn-to-row programme, while rowers who already have experience join senior squads led by the men's or women's captain.

LUBC received Athletic Union Performance Status for 2022-23. The university says this supported investment in equipment, boats and blades, while its highest-level athletes gained access to nutrition, psychology, physiotherapy and twice-weekly coached gym sessions.

Its race programme includes BUCS Head, BUCS Regatta, Fours Head, the Head of the River Race, Henley Women's Regatta and Henley Royal Regatta qualifying. British Rowing reported that 2022 brought LUBC's most successful head season to that point, including local and national wins, BUCS Head medals, Fours Head pennants, and pennants at both the women's and men's eights heads.

The club hosts a BUCS-endorsed University Novice Race Day at Runcorn in November and contests an annual Liverpool Universities Varsity against Liverpool John Moores. Its calendar also includes dinners, a Christmas Ball and fundraising such as a 24-hour row-a-thon for Claire House.
