Sudbury Rowing Club rows on the River Stour from Quay Lane in Sudbury, Suffolk. It began in 1874 as Stour Boat Club and marked its 150th anniversary in 2024. The club describes about 1,500 metres of rowable water at its home reach.

Its history includes a boathouse fire in 1931 and construction of a replacement in 1932. The river was straightened and widened in 1955, and women returned to club rowing in the early 1950s.

During the 1980s the organisation restarted under the Sudbury Rowing Club name and later absorbed Alton Blades. A new clubhouse was opened on 29 May 1999 as part of the club's 125th-anniversary year.

Current membership covers junior, recreational and competitive rowing. Beginners can take learn-to-row courses, while experienced members train and race using the club's boathouse, landing stages and clubhouse facilities.

Sudbury won gold in the mixed quadruple sculls at the 2024 British Rowing Club Championships. The club also celebrated its anniversary year with a row-past at Henley Royal Regatta.

The annual Sudbury Regatta is normally held on the first Saturday in August. It brings side-by-side racing to the Stour and forms a central part of the club's event calendar.
