University of Leeds Boat Club is the university's student rowing club, based at the Leeds Boathouse beside Thwaite Mills in Stourton. Its official club history dates its establishment to 1919.

The club divides its offer between performance and participation. Performance crews target BUCS, Tideway heads and Henley, while an intermediate route supports recreational rowing and competition at local events; coxes and land-training members are also welcomed.

The £1 million boathouse opened in September 2014 as a partnership between the University of Leeds, Leeds Rowing Club, British Rowing and other supporters. It provides storage for up to 50 boats, changing rooms, a meeting and training room, parking and direct access to the canal.

University support includes a head of rowing, strength and conditioning input and physiotherapy. The club describes itself as student-led and says it works to make rowing accessible and affordable.

Recorded results include silver medals in the Championship Men's Single and Women's Beginner Quadruple Sculls at BUCS Regatta in 2019. University crews also reached the second round of the Temple Challenge Cup at Henley Royal Regatta in 2004 and 2007.
