About this regatta
Henley Royal Regatta returns to Henley-on-Thames from Tuesday 29 June to Sunday 4 July 2027. First held in 1839, Henley is the best-known regatta in the world and a fixture of the British summer sporting calendar. Racing runs head-to-head over the famous 1 mile 550 yard course on the River Thames, with more than 400 races across the six days spanning open, intermediate, club, student and junior events. Crews range from Olympic and international standard through to club and school entries, and qualifying races are held in the week before the Regatta for events that are oversubscribed. Tickets for the 2027 Regatta go on sale in spring 2027 through the official Henley Royal Regatta website.
