The Hinsdale Community Rowing Boathouse

Hinsdale Community Rowing is a sculling club for adults and juniors in the Western Chicago suburbs. HCR has a diverse membership of recreational and competitive scullers, welcoming every skill level—from complete beginners in our Learn-to-Row program to seasoned Masters athletes. Whether you're returning to the sport after years away or picking up an oar for the first time, you'll find a safe, supportive, and inclusive community on the water. We are also committed to the stewardship of the Des Plaines River, holding an annual clean-up day to remove plastics and trash from the river.
