Lake Washington Rowing Club (LWRC) was created in the late 1950s by former college rowers to provide a training camp for continued competition. The club has a traditionally styled boathouse in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood. Early each November, LWRC co-hosts the Head of the Lake Regatta with the UW.
