Portland Boat Club

The Portland Boat Club is a group of dedicated rowers, mostly scullers, in Portland, Oregon. Up until 1994, we were the Portland Rowing Club, a revival of one of the oldest rowing clubs west of the Mississippi, but following a legal split from a houseboat moorage of that name, we are the Portland Boat Club. We offer our members the benefits of belonging to a club that focuses on competitive rowing. We offer camaraderie, moorage racks for privately owned shells, and several club boats for members’ use. We are located on the Multnomah Channel, just south of the Sauvie Island Bridge.
