Screen-Share Row HQ With Jason Using Your Australian Boatshed As The Example
A 30-minute screen-share with Jason during AEST/AEDT working hours. We open Row HQ, plug in your on-water programme, your coxed VIIIs and quad sculls, and your senior, masters and schoolboy/schoolgirl crews. No deck, no high-pressure pitch.
What does the Row HQ half-hour actually look like?
Half an hour, screen-shared, organised around your actual boatshed. Jason asks how your squads are organised, what sits in your fleet, how you currently juggle WhatsApp threads, signed-off attendance sheets and the dues spreadsheet, then opens Row HQ and configures it live against that picture. You walk away with a written rollout note plus indicative AUD monthly figures for your member numbers. Nothing to sign on the call - that is not how Australian clubs buy software.
How the 30 Minutes Is Organised
Half an hour, screen-shared, configured around your shed - we move from on-water coach workflow through to treasurer-side reporting using your real squad mix
Brief Conversation First
Jason asks about your shed: senior squad numbers, masters intake, schoolboy/schoolgirl programme if you run one, and the BPay or PayID rhythm for collecting dues
Live Inside Row HQ
Examples drawn from clubs like Hawthorn, Mercantile, Mosman and MUBC, plus AGSV/CAS school programmes such as Riverview, Scotch College and Geelong Grammar
Wired Up To Your Setup
Parent-delegate access for under-18 athletes, pontoon push-off rosters, GPS Head of the Yarra-style regatta entries, plus Australian Privacy Principles handling for member records
Honest Rollout Note
A short written plan covering the Oct-March racing build-up, winter ergometer block migration, Rowing Australia member returns, and your AUD pricing band
Pick A Half-Hour Slot
Drop a quick note about your boatshed so Jason can pre-load the right examples - covering everything from King's Cup-style regatta entries through to your boatshed branding inside the app
Thanks - that has come through.
Jason will reply personally during AEST/AEDT working hours to lock in a slot.
Why The Demo Is Built Around Your Boatshed
No two Australian sheds run the same way - a Yarra-side senior club looks nothing like a school programme on Sydney Harbour or a regional masters squad. Whether you are peeling away from a Google Sheet plus WhatsApp setup or already on something paid that is not pulling its weight, the half-hour is shaped around your reality.
Your Actual Fleet
Coxed VIIIs, quad sculls, single sculls, coastal hulls - whatever sits on your trestles. The boat booking system mirrors the rack layout of your shed, not a generic template.
Australian Season Rhythm
Spring-summer racing build-ups, autumn head-race entries, winter ergometer blocks, school-term programmes layered on top - the scheduling tools bend around the calendar your captain actually uses.
Mixed Membership Reality
Senior squad, masters at sunrise, schoolboy/schoolgirl crews on Tuesday afternoons, parent-delegate access for under-18 athletes, learn-to-row intakes - the member portal shows each group only what is relevant to them.
Things People Ask Before Booking
How long does it actually take?
Half an hour is the norm. Long enough to get inside the bits of the platform that match your shed, short enough to fit either side of a session. We have run 60-minute calls when a school programme wanted a deeper look at parent-delegate setup.
Who from the club should jump on?
Whoever signs the cheque, plus whoever currently chases attendance on WhatsApp. So usually the captain and the treasurer, sometimes the head coach. For an AGSV/CAS/GPS school programme, the rowing master and the AD (athletic director) is the usual pairing.
And after the half-hour is done?
A short written note lands in your inbox - your AUD pricing band, and how we lift your member roster off the spreadsheet plus your Rowing Australia returns into the platform. If you would rather just dive in, you can set up your club free on the spot - free for good up to 20 active members, no card needed.
Are you going to push us into signing on the call?
No. That is not how Australian clubs buy and we know it. Half-hour, no pitch deck, no contract on the table. If you want to circle back next committee meeting, that is fine. Have a wander through the screenshot gallery first if you would rather have a poke around solo, or check the FAQ.
Want a poke around first?
Have a wander through the features pages and the AUD pricing bands before you book the half-hour - or just open an account and get rowing
