No. ErgData, Hydrow, Ergatta, and Kinomap look after an individual's training on an indoor machine. Row HQ looks after the club: members, fleet, sessions, crews, and money. They solve different problems, and plenty of rowers keep both kinds of app on the one phone.

Do members have to download an app?

No. Android users can install Row HQ from Google Play. Members who prefer the browser can open the club address in Safari or Chrome and add it to their home screen. Both options use the same club account.

We are a small club. Is it still worth it?

Yes. Up to 20 active members costs nothing at all; past that the club pays a flat monthly amount in AUD set by member count, so a small regional club pays a genuinely small fee. School and university programmes scale on the same platform, with parent accounts and welfare records for under-18 rowers as standard.

How quickly can a club be up and running?

Around four hours of setup, with your member list imported automatically. Most clubs stage the rollout over a week: committee first, then coaches, then everyone. Keep the old WhatsApp group running alongside for the first fortnight, then archive it.
