Founded 1858 (as Bishops Collegiate, later The High School, renamed Hale School in 1929). A founding PSA school and Head of the River entrant since 1899.

Founded 1868 - the first rowing club in Western Australia and the last one remaining on the Perth city foreshore. The 1906 boatshed at Barrack Square is heritage-listed.

Founded 1920 as the rowing arm of the Australian Natives Association Aquatic Club; moved to Bayswater in 1992. Hosts the Head of the Swan each October.

Karrinyup Anglican girls' school and IGSSA Head of the River regular; founded 1921, centenary marked in 2021.

Uniting Church school on a 19-hectare riverside campus in South Perth; PSA member since 1952 and a regular Head of the River competitor.

Formed July 1933 as Maylands Rowing Club; renamed Perth Rowing Club in 1956. Now boats from the city foreshore next to WARC after relocating following the 1962 Commonwealth Games.

Como girls school and Wesley's sister school. Has won the IGSSA Head of the River Champion School Trophy 14 times to 2020 - the most successful WA girls' rowing programme.

Founded 1969 on the Canning River. Runs All Schools, Masters and Pennants programmes and operates the rowing programme for All Saints College.

Formed 2008 at the new Champion Lakes Regatta Centre - the only WA aquatic club combining rowing, dragon boating, kayaking and radio sailing on the same purpose-built lake.
