QEHS Rowing Club is the extracurricular rowing club for pupils of Queen Elizabeth High School, Hexham. It rows from Tyne Green on the River Tyne and is run by teachers and coaches with support from parent volunteers.

The club's 2025 safety plan records about 110 regular rowers across Years 9 to 13. New members usually join in September through a structured Learn to Row route or enter individually during the school year.

Members receive four coached sessions each week. The programme combines on-water technique and boat handling with ergometer training, aerobic work, strength and conditioning, flexibility and equipment maintenance.

The club shares Tyne Green with Hexham Rowing Club and Hexham Canoe Club through the Tyne Green Water Sports Association. Its emergency plan identifies the rowing base on Tyne Green Road and sets out the navigation and safety arrangements used on the local water.

Recorded results from 2006 to 2009 include a National Schools' Regatta J18 single-scull gold in 2006, medals in J14 and J16 crew boats at national events, and a J16 coxed-four gold in 2009. In October 2024 QEHS fielded 12 boats at Tees Head, with its fastest crews placing sixth and seventh overall and further second places in the afternoon division.

The club publishes an events calendar and race reports for its school community. Its membership fees support the buildings, equipment maintenance and equipment purchases, while event entry, travel and accommodation are paid separately.
