Ross Rowing Club is a community rowing club on the River Wye at Rope Walk, Ross-on-Wye. It welcomes complete beginners, returning rowers, recreational members and people seeking high-level training, and it is registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club.

The club identifies 1875 as its formal founding year, while its history traces organised rowing around Ross to about 1870 and records local watermen's races in 1876. A clubhouse built in 1908 provided boat storage, changing and administrative rooms and a first-floor social area.

Ross won the West of England championship in 1947. After decline in the 1960s, members revived the club; a new clubhouse was built and membership grew between 1977 and 1979, followed by a new boat store in 1985.

The four-week Learn to Row course runs in spring and summer. Beginners start in stable recreational boats before progressing to racing shells, learning both rowing and sculling technique, safe procedures and equipment handling.

Ross Regatta is held over the August Bank Holiday and attracts crews and spectators from across the country. The club says a typical regatta brings almost 1,000 competitors aged 11 to 77 across 140 events.

The club remains open through the year and also accommodates camping, canoeing and paddleboarding. Club news records junior, senior and masters racing, along with an internal mixed regatta for established members and recent Learn to Row graduates.
