Walbrook Rowing Club is based at Trowlock Way in Teddington, on the first non-tidal reach of the Thames above Teddington Lock. Its formal rules record formation on 1 October 1962, while the current About page describes the club as established in 1961.

The club rows on the four-mile reach towards Molesey Lock. It is an open club for juniors, seniors and masters and offers novice, student and cox-only membership alongside its main rowing categories.

Beginners can take junior or adult learn-to-row courses before entering improver or development pathways. Junior rowing starts around school years 7 and 8, while adult courses combine indoor instruction, equipment handling, water safety and coached boat work.

Facilities include a fleet of sculling and sweep boats, four club coaching launches, rowing machines, two free-weights rooms and circuit-training equipment. Walbrook operates from Teddington Watersports Centre, whose membership is also required for rowing members.

Masters rowers compete at events including British Masters, Henley Masters, Head of the Charles and World Masters. Current club news also records junior finals and medals and a double win at the 2025 British Rowing Indoor Championships.
