Worthing Rowing Club is a coastal rowing club based at Splash Point on Marine Parade, Worthing. Its history records rowing in the town from 1853 and the formal establishment of the present club in 1880 with the involvement of Sir Robert Loder. A boathouse was built in 1898.

The club became South Coast champions in 1912, then resumed activity in 1920 after the First World War. Its historical account records championship wins in 1924, 1925 and 1926 and says Worthing became the first coastal club to enter the Tideway Head of the River Race in 1952.

In 1953 the club won two championships, including the Hants and Dorset Amateur Rowing Association Senior Fours title. That crew also raced at the Serpentine Coronation Regatta held for Queen Elizabeth II's coronation celebrations.

Today Worthing offers competitive and recreational rowing from the seafront. Its joining information covers adult learn-to-row courses, junior rowing, racing membership and social membership, with beginners welcomed alongside established rowers.

The club competes in Coastal Amateur Rowing Association events and holds its own annual Worthing Regatta east of Worthing Pier. The event brings coastal crews to the town for racing from the beach.

A seven-member under-19 women's team completed a Concept2 longest-continuous-row world and national record attempt in January 2020. The club says the effort raised more than £5,500 for local and rowing charities.
