Minnesota Boat Club has been rowing in Saint Paul since 1870, making it one of the older rowing clubs in the United States.
Its junior programmes are open to athletes aged 14 to 18 and require no previous rowing experience. Prospective juniors submit an enquiry and the coaches take it from there.
The adult programme is described by the club as growing, with places for both novice and intermediate rowers. Members get on-the-water coaching, flexible membership options and, in the club's own words, the support of an enthusiastic group of rowers who are learning, improving and having a good time doing it.
Learn to Row runs as three-day sessions across the summer, from the start of June through to the end of July, with dates bookable individually.
The club also maintains a history section, a recognition banquet, and a venue hire operation alongside the rowing.
