About this club
Mannum Rowing Club is a current Rowing South Australia regional club based on the River Murray at Mannum. The Australian Sports Foundation says it was established on the riverbank in 1911.
Rowing SA's current club directory links the club and lists it alongside the state's other regional rowing clubs. A State Library of South Australia photograph also records Mannum boat-club oarsmen on the banks of the Murray River.
The club runs the Mannum Rowing Club Regatta from Polack Street. South Australia's official tourism listing describes a full day of crew racing and riverside activity at the Mannum venue.
A contemporary newspaper report from January 1933 records a major home-regatta performance. Sixteen Mannum members won seven of their eight starts, including the junior eights.
The club remains the named host of its annual regatta and is represented in Rowing SA's current regional network. Its limited web presence does not provide a sourced current squad or facilities breakdown.
