Renmark Rowing Club has provided recreational and competitive rowing since 1919. It rows from 1 Rowing Club Lane in Renmark on the River Murray and is listed among Rowing South Australia's current regional clubs.
The club welcomes experienced rowers and people who have never rowed. Its current membership categories include full, concession or veteran, student, social and life membership, with access to rowing machines, boats and equipment varying by category.
Renmark created the Wharf to Woolshed Long Row in 2017. The first event drew 42 rowers, and the club now describes it as a 36-kilometre upstream row from Renmark to the Woolshed Brewery open to flat-water boat classes and rowers of different ages and abilities.
Renmark Paringa Council named the Long Row its 2022 Event of the Year. The event also received a commendation from the Governor of South Australia.
In 2021 the club formed a rowing partnership with St Francis of Assisi College. Seventy-four students joined the initial two-term come-and-try programme, from which 14 became active rowers preparing for state regattas.
The club lists regular general and beginner sessions on Thursday afternoons and Sunday mornings. Experienced crews can arrange broader access to continue their own rowing.
