Gráinne Mhaol Rowing Club is a Galway river club and the alumni sister club of University of Galway Boat Club. Rowing Ireland lists it as a current Connacht affiliate, and the university club says Gráinne Mhaol caters for alumni, masters, university staff, students and recreational rowers.

The graduate club was already active by June 2007, when the university announced a Gráinne Mhaol alumni gathering at Henley Royal Regatta. Later university material records Jen Cunningham leading the club's masters and recreational programmes and says those programmes began in 2013.

Gráinne Mhaol shares the university club's facilities and equipment beside the River Corrib. Its masters athletes have raced at the National Rowing Centre, domestic regattas and the World Rowing Masters Championships, while recreational crews have completed Paris 30 Bridges, Venice Vogalonga and the Lago d'Iseo 110 tour.

The club has also carried the university's graduate crews at senior level. A University of Galway report records a combined Gráinne Mhaol and NUI Galway crew winning the 2012 men's Senior Eight championship, with four members of that eight also taking the Senior Coxless Four title.

In 2013 the combination won the men's Senior Eight for the fifth time in six years, and Gráinne Mhaol also won the Senior Four. The university described Gráinne Mhaol as its alumni club and reported Niall Kenny adding the men's Lightweight Single title.

Olympic medallist Aifric Keogh regularly competes for Gráinne Mhaol. University and Rowing Ireland profiles identify the club as her affiliation and record her Tokyo Olympic bronze in the women's four before she returned for the women's pair at Paris 2024.
