King's College London Boat Club rows on the Thames Tideway from Tideway Scullers School beside Chiswick Bridge. Its fleet is racked at the Dan Mason Drive boathouse, which provides changing, training and social facilities.

The club's own public profile gives a founding year of 1837, and a King's crew raced at the second Henley Regatta in 1840. The modern organisation incorporates the histories of King's, Guy's Hospital and St Thomas' Hospital boat clubs through successive medical-school mergers.

Membership is open to complete beginners and experienced King's students with different levels of commitment. Coaches work across novice and senior rowing, and the constitution sets objectives of providing development pathways, equipment, coaching and opportunities to compete, officiate and administer the sport.

KCLBC races in British Rowing and university competition, including Tideway heads, BUCS Regatta, Henley Women's and Henley Royal. It also contests United Hospitals events with London's medical schools and runs an annual November trip to Cambridge.

King's won Henley Royal Regatta's Wyfold Challenge Cup in 1946, the first Henley trophy for King's, Guy's or St Thomas'. St Thomas' Hospital won the same event in 1960, adding a second victory to the present club's combined lineage.

The women's first eight finished 37th overall and third in its category at the 2015 Women's Head, which King's reported as its best women's result to that date. That summer, a King's Prince Albert four made the Henley Royal draw after all four rowers had learned the sport at university.
