Pangbourne College Boat Club is the school's British Rowing-affiliated club on the River Thames at Shooters Hill, Pangbourne. Rowing at the college was founded in 1955, and the boat club marked its 70th anniversary at Henley Royal Regatta in 2025.

Pupils can choose rowing in the Michaelmas term, while the racing squad begins in Year 9. The programme allows pupils to balance other school sports in autumn before focusing on rowing through the Lent and Summer terms.

The club trains on a six-kilometre reach of the Thames and provides a pathway for elite pupils seeking national selection. Pangbourne crews race at local and national events, including Schools' Head of the River and National Schools' Regatta.

Pangbourne has won the Princess Elizabeth Challenge Cup at Henley Royal Regatta four times. The first victory came in 1963, followed by winning crews in 1971, 1992 and 2003.

National Schools' Regatta honours include the Royal Engineers' Cup for championship coxless fours in 1989 and the Queen Mother Challenge Cup in 2003. Recorded British junior titles include pairs and quads victories between 1974 and 2001.

The Boat Club holds an annual dinner for more than 120 guests, with recent speakers including Olympic champion Katherine Grainger. Its Henley community events also bring together current rowers, former crews, parents and staff.
