Shanklin Sandown Rowing Club is a coastal rowing club on the Esplanade at Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. It offers recreational and competitive rowing to people of all ages and experience levels and accepts newcomers throughout the year.

Shanklin Rowing Club was inaugurated in 1875 and competed at south-coast regattas. It won the Borough of Portsmouth Grand Challenge Cup in 1888, 1889 and 1890, then became one of seven founding clubs of the Hants and Dorset Amateur Rowing Association in 1903. Rowing stopped in 1916 after a high tide and strong winds swept away its club hut, boats and equipment.

A separate Sandown club existed from about 1900 until the Second World War. Former Sandown members helped the Shanklin club reform in December 1954, providing access to retained funds when Sandown was added to the name; a new Shanklin base followed in 1955 and the present clubhouse opened in 1975.

The club competes in the Hants and Dorset season from May to August, when member clubs each host regattas, as well as the South Coast Championships, junior regional and national events, indoor championships and local heads. It also runs its own annual Shanklin Regatta.

Hundreds of young rowers have learned at the club. Louis Attrill won his first trophy in Shanklin Sandown colours before rowing in Great Britain's Olympic gold-medal eight in 2000.

Recent results include Hants and Dorset junior sculls and pairs titles in 2014, further novice and junior championships in 2015-17, and three national indoor medals in 2018. In 2019 the men's junior four completed an undefeated season by becoming the club's first men's South Coast champion crew, while its stern pair won the club's first Pairs Head title.
