Stratford-upon-Avon Boat Club rows on the River Avon in Warwickshire, opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Its official address is The Clubhouse, Swan's Nest Lane, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 7LS.

The club was established on 10 August 1874, when a group met at the Falcon one week after a successful local regatta. It engaged professional waterman Rowall of Newcastle-upon-Tyne as a coach in 1879 and Stephen Renforth the following year; a junior four won at Stratford in 1881 and the club formed a senior four in 1882.

Current membership covers adults and under-18s. The programme lists learn-to-row for people aged 16 and over, juniors aged 13 to 18, seniors aged 19 to 26, masters aged 27 to 81, weekday rowing and volunteering.

The club also has a developed adaptive programme. British Rowing reported that Mark Dewdney moved to Stratford in 2015 and created the adaptive squad with coaches and volunteers; the club won the national Parasport Club of the Year public vote in 2020.

Stratford identifies itself as the home club of Paralympic gold medallist James Roe and junior world champion Camilla Hadland. British Rowing also records that Esme Booth began rowing there before representing Great Britain at under-23 and senior World Championships.

The club promotes an annual Junior Sprint Regatta and a Fun Regatta on its home water. In 2024 it became the first winner of British Rowing's Environmental Sustainability Award, recognising work around its river stretch and surrounding land.
