Team UWE Bristol Boat Club is the rowing club run through the Students' Union at UWE. Its water sessions are based at Saul Junction Marina on the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal, while land training takes place at the Centre for Sport on UWE's Frenchay Campus.

The club offers a beginner programme for students trying rowing for the first time. Its older club site describes four squads and competition from local events through to international university racing.

Senior crews compete during the year at British Universities and Colleges Sport events and target Henley Royal Regatta. UWE and the University of Bristol have also contested the Bristol Boat Race since 1995.

A UWE lightweight men's quadruple scull won its event at the 2010 British Championships before representing Great Britain at the European Universities Rowing Championships. That selection formed part of what British Rowing called its largest European Universities Rowing Championships team at the time.

At the 2025 Head of the River Race, UWE won the Small Academic Pennant. These results sit alongside the club's beginner pathway and its continued use of both university land facilities and the canal base at Saul.
