About this head race

The Isle of Ely Rowing Club offers training for competitive and recreational rowers, including a seasonal learn-to-row course. The club has thriving juniors' section and runs a successful outreach program in local schools. Established in 2004, the club welcomes individuals of all ages and abilities, focusing on community involvement.

Course

The Queen Adelaide Straight on the River Great Ouse, non-tidal with minimal variation in level, allows year-round rowing. Offers beautiful views of Ely Cathedral and the riverside meadows.
