Huon Rowing Club is a community club at Franklin on the Huon River. Rowing Tasmania lists it among the state's current clubs, and the club's public page identifies its Huon Valley and river setting.
The club offers Learn to Row from teenage ages through to masters. Experienced rowers can join for social or competitive rowing.
Huon members compete in the Tasmanian State Pennant series and school competition. In 2021 Patrick Robbie and Julian Wynter, both Huon members, won the Under 16 Schoolboys double scull at the Tasmanian School Championships.
Robbie also won the Under 16 Schoolboys single scull final at that regatta, while Wynter finished third. The two joined rowers from other schools for the Under 16 Schoolboys eight and finished third in the final.
The same report said Huon would send athletes, coaches, supporters and volunteers to the 2021 Australian National Championships and Interstate Regatta at Lake Barrington. The club's public record does not provide a dependable founding year.
