Blackrock College Rowing Club is the school rowing club of Blackrock College in County Dublin. Rowing Ireland lists it as a river club, and the club's own site says members train at Islandbridge and in the college gym.
The school describes rowing as a well-established part of its sports programme. Junior and senior squads train four times each week and compete at events across Ireland.
A club profile recorded more than 30 regular members and six Rowing Ireland-qualified coaches led by Laura Gannon. In 2023, the college renovated the rowing gym and added 20 erg machines so several groups could train together.
At the 2024 Irish Indoor Rowing Championships, Jon-Luc Elias won the J15 1,000-metre national title and Charlie Schmitt won bronze over 500 metres. The school also reported medals across several other indoor events.
The 2024 regatta season brought wins for the men's J15 quad at Portadown, Limerick and Neptune, a J15 single win for Finn O'Brien, and second place for the men's J16 eight at the Schools Regatta.
In 2023, the J16 eight won at Neptune Regatta, while J14 and J15 quads won medals at Commercial Regatta. The club also enters the Irish Rowing Championships and maintains a programme of national regattas and overseas training camps.
