Skerries Rowing Club was founded in 2012 and rows from Skerries Harbour in County Dublin. Its address is 1 The Pier, Skerries Harbour, Harbour Road, Skerries, K34 RC99, and the club says its membership exceeds 80 people aged from 10 to over 70.

The fleet comprises four traditional East Coast skiffs and two FISA boats: a four-seater and a double. The club says these boats allow members to row throughout the year.

Skerries belongs to both Rowing Ireland and the East Coast Rowing Council. Its organised water-training season runs from March to September, leading into an East Coast circuit in which roughly nine or ten clubs host regattas. Categories run from under-12 to veterans and include mixed and novice racing.

Membership is open to adults, students and juveniles, with separate cox and coach categories. Membership includes equipment, coaching and training, and the club describes itself as open to different ages and abilities.

Competitive crews also attend the All-Ireland Coastal Rowing Championships. The club handbook lists the Great River Race, Ocean to City, Hobblers Challenge, Boyne Boat Race and Barrow Challenge among longer events undertaken by members.

Social crews have represented Skerries on the Liffey, Barrow, Lee, Thames and Seine. Members also support local beach cleans and other community work.

The club runs the annual Round Rockabill Rowing Race, known as Row the Rock. Its own event page describes a 15-kilometre open-sea race for coxed seagoing fixed-seat and sliding-seat boats, with a beach sprint at the start and finish.
