St Peter's School in Cambridge runs a rowing programme that uses Lake Karapiro rowing facilities. The school races both girls' and boys' crews, from under 15 level through to under 18 and novice events.
During the 2024/25 season the school's crews raced at NISS, the Christmas Regatta, the Memorial Regatta and beach sprints, building to the Maadi Cup.
At the 2025 Maadi Cup the school won three gold, three silver and one bronze medal and finished fourth overall in New Zealand, its highest placing since 2019. It was the top-placed Waikato school in the Star Trophy points competition and runner-up for the President's Scull for the champion sculling school. Gold medals came in the girls' under 18 double sculls, the boys' novice coxed quad, in a record time, and the boys' novice double sculls. The boys' novice eight won silver, the school's first boys' eight on the Maadi podium since 1994.
