Appledore Pilot Gig Club is a community rowing club in the fishing village of Appledore, at the meeting of the Taw and Torridge estuaries. Four local people founded the club in 2003, and its history links the project to the area's pilot-gig tradition.

The first club gig, Verbena, arrived in 2005. Whitford followed in 2007 and Len White in 2019. The club also lists the glass-reinforced plastic training gigs Siren and Margaret James.

More than 120 active members row with the club, with participation available from age 11. The programme includes juniors aged 11 to 16, under-18 rowers, adult novice courses, senior membership, associate membership and a category for coxes.

Members can row recreationally or train for competition. Appledore crews attend regattas across the South West and the World Pilot Gig Championships, and the club is affiliated to the Cornish Pilot Gig Association.
