Evesham Rowing & Racquets Club occupies The Boathouse in Abbey Park on the River Avon. Rowing sits alongside tennis, squash, weight training and social facilities in a multi-sport organisation that reported 740 members.

Twelve Evesham residents founded the rowing club in 1863. The rowing section accepts beginners, experienced athletes, returning rowers and visitors across junior, student and adult categories.

The club runs Learn to Row courses for adults and children, with a published adult course of one session a week for 12 weeks. It also trains new coxes without a course fee and offers improvement coaching for rowers with prior experience.

Club facilities include six floodlit all-weather tennis courts, three squash courts, a weight-training section and a function room. The Boathouse cafe and bar operates as a community venue for talks, meetings, celebrations and other social events.

Evesham has produced British champions in junior, lightweight and open categories. Its record includes four national titles in 2009, and the club's 2021 women's J15 single added another; an Evesham and Leander composite crew won Henley Royal Regatta's Fawley Challenge Cup in 2002.

The annual Evesham Regatta is a two-day River Avon event. More than 40 clubs attended in 2025, and the 2026 programme combined an approximately 1,000-metre Saturday course with 500-metre Sunday sprints for crews spanning junior to masters ages.
