Worcester Rowing Club is based at The Boathouse on Grand Stand Road, beside the River Severn at Pitchcroft. Its current membership routes include men's and women's rowing, Masters, juniors, novice and recreational rowing, plus sculling.
The present club was formed in 1874, when the surviving rowing clubs in Worcester combined. Its own history notes that organised racing in the city predates the club by many decades, but 1874 is the documented foundation year for Worcester Rowing Club itself.
The club welcomes both seasoned rowers and complete beginners. Its broad squad structure allows members to pursue competition, learn the sport or row recreationally from the same city-centre boathouse.
