Huntingdon Boat Club is a community amateur sports club on the River Great Ouse at Riverside Gardens, Hartford Road, Huntingdon, PE29 3RP. It was founded in 1854 to promote and further rowing in Huntingdon.

The club describes itself as the first boat club founded in historic Huntingdonshire and one of the earliest English clubs established away from the Thames Valley. Its early records were largely lost when its boathouse flooded in 1958, so the official history combines surviving documents with members' recollections.

A riverside boathouse completed in 1954 served the club until the 1980s. Construction of its replacement began in early 1987; the new building was completed that year and formally opened in December by Huntingdon MP John Major.

Today's membership ranges from young juniors to experienced masters. The volunteer-run club has junior and novice senior sessions, competes from novice to elite level and fields crews in boat classes from single sculls to eights. Its official history records a fleet covering every contemporary racing boat type.

Huntingdon crews have raced at national and international events. A men's open heavyweight double reached the National Championships final in 2000 and entered Henley Royal Regatta's Double Sculls Challenge Cup in 2001, while masters crews competed at the World Masters Regatta in 2003 and 2005.

The club's Great Ouse Sculling Championships developed into its annual Head of the River race. Huntingdon also revived its summer regatta for 2026, including senior, masters and junior racing plus a short event for recent learn-to-row graduates.
