Nottinghamshire County Rowing Association is a rowing club based in boathouse bays 6 and 7 at the National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierrepont. Members train on the centre's six-lane, 2,000-metre Regatta Lake and can use its gyms, indoor training areas and Wattbike studio.

NCRA was formed in 1981 by rowers from Nottingham schools and local clubs, with support from Nottinghamshire County Council. It won a World Championship silver medal in the lightweight coxless four in 1983 and its first Henley Royal Regatta title, the Wyfold Challenge Cup, in 1984.

During its first 25 years, more than 200 athletes won international vests across junior, under-23, lightweight, women's, Commonwealth and Olympic rowing. The 1989 men's eight won the Ladies' Challenge Plate at Henley in a re-row against Harvard.

The club closed in 2006 after county funding was reduced and the national-team system changed. Former members and coaches revived NCRA in 2016, retaining a selective coaching model and using sculling as a main training and assessment discipline.

NCRA now runs junior and under-23 squads and offers junior Learn to Row courses, mainly in school holidays, with winter land training leading into spring water sessions. Membership categories cover J16 to J18 juniors, adults, holiday-training students and non-rowing supporters.

Since its return, the club has won medals at National Schools' Regatta and the national junior and senior championships, and represented England at the Home International Regatta. It produced a Great Britain junior-world selection in 2017 and under-23 European selections in 2018 and 2019.
