Poole Amateur Rowing Club has rowed since 1873 and describes itself as the oldest sports club in Poole. The club is based by the old lifting bridge, just off Poole Quay, with access to Poole Harbour.

Its stated aim is to provide financially inclusive access to rowing on the harbour in a sustainable way. Members can row recreationally or competitively.

Both novices and experienced rowers are welcome, whatever their age or ability. Prospective members can try a free taster session before deciding whether rowing is for them.
