Runcorn Rowing Club is based on Cholmondeley Road in Clifton, Runcorn, Cheshire. It rows on the River Weaver Navigation, with the club describing 10 kilometres of water between Weston Marsh Lock and Dutton Locks.

The club was founded in 1894 on land purchased from the Marquis of Cholmondeley. It is affiliated to British Rowing and lists boats from singles through to eights for different ages and weights.

Runcorn's current groups include women's, men's, junior, adaptive and Yearning to Row development squads. Published sessions place each squad on the water at weekends, with additional indoor or weekday sessions for several groups.

The site describes two boatsheds alongside the clubhouse. The Jim Newcomb boathouse, officially opened in April 2008, stores larger boats and coaching launches; the clubhouse provides changing, shower and toilet facilities plus indoor rowing machines and weight-training equipment.

Beginners can enter through structured coaching and recurring learn-to-row courses. Around 30 senior members are recorded as contributing as coaches, committee members or helpers.

The club runs a Junior Regatta, an Autumn Head and the Runcorn Long Distance Head. The Long Distance Head is raced on the lower River Weaver, and the official archive provides results back to 2006 with gaps for cancelled years.

Runcorn's River Weaver site also has a canoe-trail pontoon, officially opened in September 2010. Liverpool University Boat Club uses part of the second boatshed.
