Worcester College Boat Club is an Oxford college club founded in 1825. It rows on the Isis from Boathouse Island at Christ Church Meadow, sharing a boathouse building with Merton College Boat Club.
WCBC describes itself as one of Worcester College's largest student societies. Membership is open to undergraduates and postgraduates, from complete beginners to experienced rowers and coxes.
The core Oxford programme includes Torpids and Summer Eights, with the club's published crew lists recording multiple men's and women's eights. Its performance squads train several times each week for external racing, with club material also recording camps at Lake Bled and Seville.
The club's Henley Royal Regatta honours include victory in the Thames Challenge Cup in 1922. Worcester member Jack Beresford won the Diamond Challenge Sculls in 1927 while representing Thames Rowing Club.
Worcester rowers have also represented Oxford in the men's and women's Boat Races. The club combines this competitive history with a current offer that explicitly welcomes students who have never rowed or considered themselves athletes.
