Albert Park-South Melbourne Rowing Club rows on Albert Park Lake from 32-36 Aughtie Drive. The present club was created in 1995 when Albert Park and South Melbourne rowing clubs amalgamated during the lake redevelopment.

The Plant-Williamson Rowing Pavilion was built as part of that redevelopment. The club's history says it contains an upstairs function hall and five rowing bays, with two bays used by Albert Park-South Melbourne and three used by Caulfield Grammar.

The club has more than 150 members across junior, senior, masters, life and social categories. Its activities include social and competitive rowing, fundraising, working bees and boat christenings.

New rowers can take a six-week Learn to Row programme before moving into the development squad. Experienced rowers can use Return to Row assessment sessions or buy a short Ticket to Row package.

The Albert Park predecessor club was founded in 1875 and became a founding member of the Victorian Rowing Association. Its historical record includes the first Victorian Champion Eight in 1889 and Olympic competitors and coaches at Melbourne in 1956.

The current club hosts the Albert Park Masters Regatta through Rowing Victoria's calendar. It also provides venue hire from its Albert Park Lake pavilion.
