About this club
Carrum Rowing Club describes itself as the home of community rowing in south-east Melbourne. It rows at the National Water Sports Centre on Patterson River and gives prospective visitors directions to its boat shed from Riverend Road.
The club offers recreational and competitive rowing. Its programmes cover junior, senior and masters rowers from age 13, with a development pathway from beginner to representative level.
New rowers can start through a Learn to Row programme. The club's membership information also distinguishes junior, senior, student and masters options.
Carrum hosts its own masters regatta at the National Water Sports Centre. Rowing Victoria's past-events list records the 2016 Carrum Masters Regatta at the centre.
In 2026 the club sent 19 athletes to the Australian Masters Rowing Championships at Champion Lakes in Perth. Seven Carrum athletes were also selected for the Victorian Masters team at that year's Interstate Regatta.
