Bunbury Rowing Club is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit club beside Leschenault Inlet. It is affiliated with Rowing WA and offers school rowing, beginner entry, social rowing and competitive squads for pennant and national events. The club also identifies maintenance of its boats and rowing infrastructure as a core responsibility.

Frank Slee, Frank Goldsmith and E. E. Sheard formed the club in May 1921. Bunbury recorded its first metropolitan win in a novice four in 1926 and was allocated an annual pennant regatta in 1930.

An official clubhouse opened in 1935. A fire damaged the hall in 1955, and the club history says it reopened nine months later after repairs.

Bunbury crews travelled to the Royal Hobart Regatta in 1953 and again in 1963. The club's history also records later rebuilding of its facilities and the continuing Easter regatta tradition.

Current rowing is based at Cobblestone Drive, Bunbury 6230. Rowing WA reported that participation in Bunbury's rowing festival rose from 146 in 2024 to 234 in 2025, and the 2026 program included the Bunbury Big Boat Sprint.
