Ballycotton Rowing Club is a mixed coastal club in County Cork. Rowing Ireland lists coastal scull and coastal sweep among its disciplines, and 2024 reporting showed members taking boats out from Ardnahinch beach in Shanagarry.

The Irish Examiner reported in October 2024 that the club had been founded just over a year earlier by rowing coaches Ger and Emer McLean. By then it had nearly 100 members, an even gender split and age groups running from under-12s to masters.

The club encourages participation by people of different abilities. It combines coached coastal rowing with competition, and Rowing Ireland delivered an Introduction to Coaching course at Ballycotton in 2026 for parents, volunteers, new members and junior rowers aged 16 and over.

Ballycotton members won seven gold, four silver and one bronze medal at national championships reported in 2024. Danielle Winters represented the club at Irish and World Indoor Rowing Championships, finishing in the world top ten and European top eight.

The club was named overall club of the championship at a Cork Coastal Rowing Association regatta in 2024. Rowing Ireland records also show Ballycotton crews across junior, open and masters coastal categories.

Ballycotton hosted the 2025 Irish Coastal Rowing Championships at the National Rowing Centre in Farran. Rowing Ireland has again partnered with the club for the 2026 championships at Loughbeg Strand, with races planned for under-12 through masters 55+ categories.
