Bay of Plenty Coast Rowing Club, known as Bay Coast, rows on the Wairoa River from its base on Wairoa Road at Te Puna, Tauranga. Crews train on the fresh water of the river all year round.
The club caters for school, club and masters rowers. Its school members come from ACG, Bethlehem, Katikati, Otumoetai and Waihi colleges, alongside open adult and masters crews, and rowers can join from the age of 12.
