About this club
Rotorua Lakes High School rowing is a school programme based in Rotorua, with crews travelling to race at Lake Karapiro and at the national secondary schools regatta.
In early 2025 the school's crews raced at Lake Karapiro, with some students racing events for the first time, and the school calendar for that term included the North Island Secondary Schools Rowing Championships. A teacher in charge of rowing supports the rowers through training and regattas.
In March 2026 a small group of the school's rowers travelled to Twizel to compete at the Maadi Cup. The school's 2025 sports awards included rowing honours for rowers of the year, the most improved rower and contribution to rowing.
