Great Marlow School Boat Club is a state-school rowing programme on the Thames at Marlow. Its own club site reports more than 100 rowers from Year 8 to Year 13, while the school presents rowing as a pupil sport built around crew training on the river and rowing machines.

The current club was formed in May 2008 and initially negotiated use of Marlow Rowing Club's facilities. It moved to Longridge Activity Centre on Quarry Wood Road in 2009, where boats were kept on outdoor racks alongside Sir William Borlase's Grammar School Boat Club.

A long-running project secured a site for a shared Marlow and District Schools Boathouse after almost 20 years and consideration of more than 15 locations. British Rowing said the project would create a permanent home for the two school clubs and make rowing available to other local schools.

The school's rowing heritage includes former pupils Sir Steve Redgrave, Steve Turner and Mark Buckingham, all of whom represented Great Britain at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. More recent pupils have reached Great Britain trials and international competition; Sal Dunn was selected for the British men's quad at the 2024 European Under-19 Championships.

Great Marlow won the J16 and J15 coxed fours at the 2023 National Schools' Regatta. In 2024 its open junior quad set the fastest overall time at the Junior Sculling Head, and its women's J15 coxed quad won its division ahead of 56 other crews.

The club raced three crews at Henley Royal Regatta in 2023, gaining its first pre-qualified entry and its deepest run at the regatta. It returned to Henley's entry list in 2026 and also won two categories at the 2026 Schools' Head.
